WendyHater9000 Posted December 8, 2024 Share Posted December 8, 2024 First, I've done 3 fw+cc Walter rush after this update, which was done in d85, 61 and 60. After these 3 run, I need to say that Walter new skilltree is really well done compare to... you know... Wendy's. He got higher material efficiency, AOE dmg, dps buff, QOL of bullet crafting and holy 24-wall long snipe after this update, which almost nullify his annoying trait before(needing to waste tons of material to craft tons of rounds while hambat goes brrrrrr, and getting drained to 0 sanity by bishop because that mf got same range as you). After the applause, let talk about the only thing that doesn't really work well, our little boy Woby. Small woby skill is fine, picking up stuff on ground and digging pan flute is nice to have. But big woby is worse compare to our good ol' rider beefalo. Beefalo can tank dmg, and won't buck you off. Tho it's hard to tame, it almost take the same time as training speed trait of woby. So I was thinking about that maybe we can get woby 2 new skill which is shadow and lunar aligned that's lock after 3 point of Woby skill is invested. And these two skill can mutate woby by placing 9 pure horror and 9 pure brilliance inside it like chester, mutated during new moon and full moon. Which Lunar Woby will be focus on big form, gaining extra speed boost, able to tank 1000 health with his bio-armor(look like bearger), slowly regenerated his armor while not damaged certain time. After its armor was depleted, he will buck you off like normal form. Shadow form will be focus on small form, allowing it to has it own inventory space and shadow inventory space at the same time, and able to pick stuff from sea, pass thru object like shadow creature and teleport to item that it want to pick. And able to dig extra pure horror, nightmare fuel and dreadstone while other normal stuff was dug. _mylilsunshine_ Posted December 8, 2024 Share Posted December 8, 2024 While I do love the thought of Aligned Woby, I don't want it to be locked behind the big and small forms. Currently, with the training station, small Woby can only Dig and Fetch, while big Woby does the rest. If this is already an issue that limits one form's viability, having the benefit of the Alignment tree locked behind a specific form will be controversial. I like your ideas though.
