Decorated headstones should generate mourning glories instead of evil flowers now

Dark petals were used to build shroud and normal petals, which was a part of the interaction with the old branch. Now this branch was redesigned into the mourning glory branch and we have Abby's haunt command, dark petals have less uses and more efficient methods to gain. So the evil flowers generated by headstones are really useless. 

And the new branch increases the need of mourning glories, so a new method to gain them like the title said would probably be a good supplement.
