Only 160 Mourning Glory are needed to engage in a 5-minute battle

Yeah, admittedly there's going to be some gaps in the armor, for sure. That doesn't have to be entirely bad though, or dissimilar from how most characters function. Wolfgang has his Bee Queen, Maxwell has his Shadow Pieces. As a Shadow Fire enthusiast, of all bosses it's the Antlion and its targetable structure spam that completely shuts down my main spell on Willow. I think it's ok for there to be specific bosses that severely (or even entirely) curtail an element of your character's effectiveness. IMO, that's what makes it fun, both to figure out as a puzzle for the specific character ("how do I beat this boss when my main thing doesn't work?") and to play other characters and find certain bosses that are nightmares on one are cake on another, and vice versa.

As long as it functions on the strong majority of bosses I'd say that's exactly where you want it in terms of DST design.

And Shadow Abigail doesn't provide any survivability, which is overall a bad design.

The butterfly skill is there for utility/farming purposes rather than exclusively for combat, not every skill in the skill tree is made for dps and combat, being able to revive butterflies for mourning glories just means you can do huge patches of flowers wherever you want for basically free healing with abby, it also lets you use a LOT more flowers and petals for different farms with the gravestones or you could even make a sanity/insanity farm with dark flowers, it has a lot of utility and its also pretty being able to finally use all the petals i want without needing to waste nets, i do agree the current price is a bit too high but again, this is not for combat. go make a net and catch some bees.

But still, 4 mourning glorys for 1 single petal/flower is just not worth it. A net could be more useful, and economical efficient.

Oh yea i agree its too much but people really need to realize not everything is about combat and dps, there are a lot of people that love decorating, making farms and just generally just play/chill rather than do a day 50 boss rush, not every skill needs to be about combat.
