Focus hits reliant on the number of enemies hit should be changed

Focus strikes seem to be a way to reward the player for playing a weapon well yet when comes to hammer and spear they have conditions that which go against this being much more reliant on the enemies than the player, those conditions being the need to hit multiple enemies with one attack to activate. Besides being reliant on the number of enemies, it also limits the use of certain attacks on single enemies or bosses since there will likely not be an enemy in the vicinity to activate the condition. I feel that this should be changed or removed as to not punish the player for something that may be out of their control. If a suitable condition cannot be thought of, I think just limiting those attacks to normal hits would be fine as long as they have an increase in motion values as compensation.

As an aside, I also think cannon could have a change to its focus strike condition to not be reliant on where in the chamber the bullet lies and instead on successful reload but as it stands it works well.
