Quikin Posted November 30, 2024 Share Posted November 30, 2024 This is an skill tree concept that i did scrapping the base one, it has more skills: I added things i think the community would want to see in the Walter skill tree, a section for camping, and turning him into a DTS version of Wheeler by giving him "Tumble training". as you can notice one skill form the original is not there, the sticky handle is now a base slingshot craft since is very niche and i don´t think it deserves the point, i think people would unlock it juts to get the handle that shoots faster. Camping: -Skill 1 : Walter´s tent roll repairs it self in Walter´s inventory. -Skill 2 : Walter campfire stories restores more sanity the lower the sanity is, so it restores more sanity the crazier someone is. (to keep people off nightmare hostile territory in base) -Skill 3 : Walter gains a passive positive sanity gain by being in the surface, that dobles by wearing the pine tree pioneer hat (since he cant use tamo). Scout training : Its still the same for the Woby skills, i removed the agility skill but i think i should have removed the "support" skill and merge that one into "Bravery". --->The new skill added is for Walter and as i said in the beginning is the "Tumble training" skill, Walter can learn triks from Woby too, he can fail the Tumble and "fall", but this will not happen anymore when the skill is mastered, is a single level skill, but it cost as much as an Woby level 2 training, its on the level 2 shelf. Tumble description: has a longer animation and duration than the dodge from Wheeler, and dosen´t have invincibility frames, if you get hit you "fall" failing the tumble. ---> since i don´t want this ability to get spam out of combat it will cost 5 hunger to tumble, and it has a Cool down. ---> I also added a benefit for this tumble ability, if you unlock an affinity, it upgrades your tumble giving it an special effect for free(no points for it), BUT as you can see is locked, you need the skill unlock it(there is not "level 1" or level 2" on the training station is only trainable by unlocking that single skill), and you get the benefit when you finish the training on tumble. >>>Tumble+Affinity: ---> Lunar Tumble: you fire your slingshot at the finish of the tumble (if you have the slingshot equipped and where fighting an enemy also), and tumble gains invincibility frames at the end of the animation (so you turn invulnerable just at the end of the tumble) ---> Shadow Tumble: after hitting 3 rounds, the tumble refreshes its cool down and you can tumble for free (no hunger lost) Also the tumble is faster, but this version dosent have invincibility frames.
