Stampede Anomaly Is Horrific In Its Current State

Recommended Posts

Problems With This Anomaly

- It causes the "Error In The Woods" message to appear constantly, and even crashes the whole game from time to time.

- The stampedes cause a delay in when the room rots spawn, so you might kill the first bunch of rots, but then when next bunch are ready to spawn in that same room when a stampede is happening, you instead have to wait for it be over to even progress.

- The wind slowing the stampedes causes for the stampede rots to be slowed permanently after the wind has effected them, meaning that if they are slowed, then the game won't let you leave the room, or even let any rots spawn until the stampede rots are de-spawned off the screen. This often causes more stampedes to happen, making players sometimes be stuck in the room for a long period of time, unless they either kill the current stampede rots or just wait it out.

The stampede anomaly is definitely the worst on Nocturne Grove due to the wind affect just completely breaking the game.

My suggestion to make this a little bit better would be to make the stampedes stop once the room is cleared. It is actually so annoying and tedious when stampedes keep happening, and lock you in the room even though you are ready to move on. I'm astonished that I never encountered this anomaly until now, as if I had, I would have for sure included it my beta feedback document.

regardless, these are all the obvious problems I encountered, though I am sure there are more.

I will be avoiding this in the meantime until it is fixed.

i fully agree.... maybe if they would stun and get knocked down... then lose the will to stamped.... and just whomp em like normal after they have been knocked out of their stampede state... idk i havent made it thru a stampede flawless yet. ive only been thru 8 stampede rooms so far... maybe theres a learning curve or something... everything else is only slightly buggy... i wonder how many more updates left till full release.... hopefully 10 more or so... seems like theres a lot on the table yet to be tested... great job devs !
