why not taking the time that was spent on getting to moon quay and getting the bushes and replanting and fertilizing them into account

Again... that is one time investmen so the more you play in a world the more benefit you get for that investment

Even going to the ruins to kill monkeys will give more benefit in less time than the non sense of farming gators

Nobody wants a hard nerf to them even i suggested to buff the production in summer to make it more fitting

they don't pay off until you either stop playing in the world out of boredom or start megabasing and if you're megabasing, you probably could've lived even with no food in the game, or at the very least even if bananas wouldn't have existed

Who is saying the opposite?? This discussion is really ridiculous

I liked the bananas before the bushes were added, because it was a cool reward for the splumonkeys. It was niche with a good reward.

If this change were made, nobody would bother with Banana farms at all. Cooked cactus flesh is 15 sanity and doesn't need crock pots to cook.

Cactus cant be transplanted to your base, and it takes longer to harvest since its spread out in a biome.

Considering that Grass Gators exist and they drop 7! leafy meat, respawn 2 mins after they got clapped and are as easily hunted as Koalefants

As easy as hunting koalefants on boats.

On top of the waterlogged biome requirement and spoil time, you're probably better off with cacti.
