aidankocherhans Posted October 22, 2024 Share Posted October 22, 2024 -Increase the window of time for soul echo (long enough that you can dodge more than one attack for many enemies) -Infuse your souls with various materials to give them additional/altered effects when soul hopping and releasing -Consume additional souls to create a portal for allies and heavy objects, similar to the upgraded backtreck watch -Give a way to release or consume multiple souls at once, so it's easier to avoid an overflow when souls are coming at you -Make mobs unable to detect you for a brief moment after soul hopping, allowing safer escapes and letting you hit flighty mobs (it's annoying that teleporting next to a koalefant wont allow you to hit it) -Gain a way to turn krampus and no eyed deer into followers, maybe increasing the naughtiness you gain to make summoning them easier -Releasing souls restores more sanity when there's no damage to heal -craft a cage you can keep in your inventory to keep captured creatures alive for much longer, with multiple slots Also, give us another use for excess stingers, I have way too many stingers as wortox Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/160316-wortox-skill-tree-ideas/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

This was mostly useful in Ancient Fuelweaver or Bee Queen because of the amount of souls that generate in those fights. The only way to accomplish this now is by dropping all your souls and filling your inventory, which is less ideal than maintaining a stockpile of them. Maybe Wortox could get a 'soul pouch' skill that works similarly to Wilson's foody beard skill, but only stores souls. The soul pouch could either prevent overfilling souls in the slot(s) entirely OR not automatically stack souls into the slot(s) so that Wortox can only move souls into his pouch manually. With the latter option, Wortox could still overfill souls, but not if you fill your inventory with filler items. Megaerra Posted November 1, 2024 Share Posted November 1, 2024 I've been contemplating a way to achieve overload, and my idea is to allow it to temporarily exceed 20 items. When it reaches 21 items, one will leak and fall to the ground every minute. The rate of falling will increase linearly, reaching one item per second once it holds 40 items. If it exceeds 40 items, 20 items will immediately fall to the ground.
