It would be a backpack with one special place for the amulet. It allows you to use both the power of the amulet and the space in your backpack.

It would be made from post-rift items

I don't know if it would be too powerful or not, but definitely would be useful in some way  : D

add a backpack that can be repaired using repair kits

and pray tell, what kind of backpacks those should be for?

We have Warly's chef pouch (6 slots iirc), backpack and insulated pack (8 slots), piggyback (12 slots but slows you down a bit), and Krampus sack (14 slots).

in before Klei do le funny rift-based stuff (le funny CC shard) and a krampus sack just for it to have 15 slots

I'd accept that if it also had major benefits. Maybe it's an access point to a special kind of tall chest that has 18 slots that all stack to 999? Kind of like Maxwell's tophat, but postgame and for everyone.

Honestly the only QoL I’d like to see is if someone is wearing the life amulet they should be automatically revived with their inventory intact oppose to dying and dropping their stuff which I feel doesn’t make sense. As of now the only purpose to wear one would be for the hp and sanity which I unironically do but wouldn’t mind that little buff.

Not only that, but it make it so that if you have a life giving amulet in your backpack, have it automatically come out the backpack.
