Weird Made up Real Life DST game me and my Siblings and cousins Used to play when Little in Back gardens

I thought of this today. Back when i was little, me and my sister made up a don't starve game we used to play outside (based on some random inside jokes we made around the game)

 

It was called Angry Woodie. For some lore, In game before Woodie's rework, we went in a world and went crazy with Woodie, acting bonkers as him and making him do random stuff while roleplaying as him, then turning into a werebeaver and just running around doing weird stuff until we died. He was like this raging crazy character, he became kind of a joke and labelled "Angry Woodie". There is a rivalary with Warly too i'll mention later. We were complete weirdos. The goal of the game for Woodie? Cut down all the trees.

 

Rules

There are three roles:

1. Angry Woodie.
2. Trees.
3. Warly.

There is 1 Woodie, 1 Warly, and the rest of the players are trees. Its like an extreme version of tag. Normally played in a controlled space like a garden.

The goal of the game is (arguably) simple. The role of Woodie is to cut down all the trees. The trees must run away from Woodie to avoid being caught. To catch a tree, Woodie must chop them down by touching them 5 times (this number was balanced on the number of players playing). Once the tree was chopped down, they join Woodie's team and help with the rest of the trees. Once all trees are chopped, Woodie wins! Though, its not all mindless fun and games for Woodie...

Warly

Warly is the 3rd role. The Warly player's goal is to stop Woodie by turning him into scrambled Woodie (i don't remember where this joke came from its so random). He would have to touch Woodie 15-20 times (we balanced it to whatever) to turn Woodie into scrambled Woodie.

After Woodie has been scrambled like an omlette, Warly and all the trees (that are not on Woodie's team) have to eat him by touching him 20 times to win the game for Warly and the surviving trees. Beware, the trees on Woodie's team can still chop the trees.

 

 

Conclusion

Honestly, the game was really fun to play. It was always very intense and funny for us. Its a lot of adrenaline as you are always running to or from someone.

If you guys are brave enough and know some people, you should ask em to play it with you lol.
