Wurt and Winona skill tree changes update 3 + more I need help with some of the Winona stuff So if you could help, that would be much appreciated

When a loyal Merm dies, it will turn into ( the merm  gestalt for the concept art from the klei stream that will possess their body and turn into…  )a mutated Merm (Loyal Merm Guard into  mutated Merm Guard). When Wurt uses Pure Horror, all loyal mutated Merms will deal planar damage instead of default damage for 4 minutes.

Winona can use Rose-Colored Glasses on Worm Holes to teleport to any Worm Hole on the map.
Winona can "Closely Examine" flowers to find a Dark Vestige and pick up a Fragile Rose. If Winona dies with a Fragile Rose in her inventory, she will revive next to the Florid Postern or, if existing, next to a Night Light.

Charlie no longer attacks Winona in the Darkness.

reverse the colors of the lunar boulder

Enlightened strike is renamed to lunar strike 

I don’t know how to make it equal but please make the head piece skills for each side be equal to their counterpart maybe do something where Winona industrializes the shadow magic also maybe merge Inspectacles and Calibrated Perceiver also the crafting recipes for rose-colored glasses and Inspectacles don't fit they're design   

also The the hot light skill should help plants grow underground as well as hatch the hatch able eggs without having to move it back and forth because it keeps switching between to hot or to cold


 

 

 

(ok this one’s separate from the rest so if you don’t like this one don’t let it drag the rest down so I get it if you don’t want to this one because most of the machinery not effected by the aligned power sources are from wagstaff’s side of the tree but I think it would be cool if all her machinery was effected)

How would the Brilliant and Horrific Trident work? Would they be the same as the Mudslingers, but can also be used as weapons?

If so, would you be able to repair them?

Yeah, maybe it could be repairable with pure brilliance/horror or Marsh turf

Personally, I think the current Mudslingers are fine. The whole thing with Wurt is that she is kinda the "Merm Princess", and her facination with books and fairytales make her Mudslingers a sort of "Magic Wand"

What I suggest is that the Mudslingers, along with the "Spell" she can cast with either Pure Horror or Pure Brilliance, is that she also gets a form change.

Like, with Shadow Affinity, she can die, and then immediately revive as "Shadow Wurt" which acts as an alternative to the Ghost mechanic. I'm not sure how exactly this would work, but I'd like to hear some other ideas!

And the Lunar Affinity could be like Werepig Wilba, where she turns into a "Mutant Wurt" and gains Night Vision and Claws that can deal decent Planar Damage, and mine, chop, dig, hammer, etc, along with the occasional spikes after being hit, like from the Bramble Husk.

Yeah, that makes sense yeah I like the wand or a thing I just don’t like how the dreaded mudskipper design wise is made out of dreadstone tried giving her a  trident  of her own feels like reflect her highly importance  in merm society Plus, if they went betray route, they wouldn’t have to think of a whole new design. Just need to add a little bit to the strident trident and would allow for a solid design without going the route of dreadstone 

OK now I’m curious how would you design those versions of Wurt did she look dramatically different from other merms In the game, the shadow variants their own unique design  rather than just being silhouettes of their former selves

I also sort of wish when they pick up their multitool again it doesn’t turn into shadow as well. Also, I wish the off the air fish since fish life so important in merm Society.

Do you think Merm King knows he’s eating fish when he eats Food looking fish Or do you think he’s sacrificing his principle for his gluttony ?

Despite the Shadow Merm design being as dissapointing as they are, I don't think I could do them better. Not because I couldn't make a better design, but because changing it would take away the MASSIVE lore implications. When the Merm turn into Shadow Merms, we literally see them SHED THEIR SKIN. This is what happened to the Ancients, and so, for me to change their design would be the same as me changing the design of the Shadow Creatures.

I meant a shadow merm design for wurt

I meant when they pick up they're multi tools again it turns into a shadow

most he doesn't but the food shaped ones he does

I meant actual variants, considering  the triumphant skin doesn't look like the shadow merms I wou actually prefer they made it a three horned bright eyed frog

Maybe Wurt using the different items from the quest could have a similar effect as the king both on top of his effects and separately when she has those skills enabled

Anyone have any ideas have any idea to make Terra corruption/mutation equal 

maybe have come up with a better name the queen’s quester that still in corporates queen in it

any idea to make Winona industrialize shadow magic (honestly I’d settle for getting rid of the bridge nothing burger can move, not attacking at night down to its slot)

I’m thinking of adding an extra related Wurt ability to each of the king quests For when she has those items in their respective slots any ideas?
