The lunar merm does not have much of an advantage over the shadow merm.

First, they seem to be friends forever, but then betray them right when the game restarts. The Shadow merm disappears immediately when we leave the game, but the lunar merm's status is canceled even when playing solo, which is fatal.

Second, they need Moon Shards, but most of them have to be mined from caves.

For this reason, Wurt players who choose the lunar skill tree are faced with a dilemma of not being able to move to the cave and end the game when they want to.

The lunar merm is a permanent follower, so like a tamed beefalo, it must follow we everywhere, including caves and reconnect.
