Attempting to add a custom item and flower for a character

So im making a character mod, im trying to make a syringe that only my character can make, Theres also a special kind of flower that spawns in randomly and if you pick it theres a 50% chance of getting a seed that lets you plant it anywhere like wormwood, and it you right click it you can harvest the nectar with a 5 minute cooldown per flower

The nectar would be used to craft the syringe that gives my character a speed boost and makes their health bar higher, the effects would last for 5 minutes and they are stackable up to 15, I only want my character to be able to use them i am very new so i will need file paths and help learning how to add my own sprites etc 

(bonus points if you can guess what character im making)
