Webber's Skill Tree ideas!

Webber is my main so i hope some or all of these skill trees happens,,  lmk what yall think n if u could improve or suggest others too 

 

1- Webber could eat his own Switchers too to transform into another type of spider, it would be helpful for fight and maybe as a healer for other spiders and players 

 

2- making it so he could ride Spider queen,  just like a beefalo,, slower but tankier

 

3- if webber is using the spider hat it stays forever,( spider hat that makes spiders following him and be loyal.) 

 

4- A boost aura would be nice too,  ( speed- hp- damage)  if hes with other spiders  and maybe gains sanity too? 

 

5- How about a bag he could craft that could store spiders and carrying them around 

 

6- spiders (befriended or not)  near webber wont eat any food or items or attack his friends,

I have an idea: 
Being able to eat switcher-doodles or more expensive ones to transform into other spiders would be nice. Like warrior would be like 20% damage reduction and extra damage with maybe extra health. Every other transformation should have less stats to give webber a reason to stay in base, like 150 - 100 range. Sea Strider form could allow him to walk on water and have wetness resistance, cave spiders could maybe give night vision, nurse spider form could just do the healing burst every few hits, spitter has some projectile, shatter(or lunar) form has some bramble husk like ability, cave spider has some shield or defense, etc.

I would like them to solve the following problems: 

1- Spiders get in the way of moving around the base and clicking on chests and other structures.

2- Webber disconnects voluntarily or by accident (internet, fps drop), and spiders attack other players.

3- Drop in fps due to the number of spiders.

This is a perspective from a person who plays with webbers on the team.

1. There was this idea on the Dont Starve reddit I thought was neat. Have it so you can upgrade your silk beard to be to automatically catch things by walking into it like with the bugnet

2. Have it so Webber can wrap silk around his weapons to have them slow down the movement speed of enemies when he hits them. Let's say each silk used on a weapon gives it 3-5 slow effect hits and you can use more silk to stack the amount of slow effect hits to a certain maximum amount. Boss enemies will have to use up more hits in order to be speed debuffed. Using the same weapon on an enemy already slowed down, doesn't use anymore slow down effect uses until the slow debuff timer runs out.

Absolutely, this is especially bad on Klei's own community servers, when just a few spiders are enough to crash the server and reset it...

cuz i read some n i its so great,  i dont wanna read everything n be disappointed when they add a lame skill tree for webber ngl

I actually don’t know how get them to even acknowledge it

but I start a group dedicated to finding a way getting our ideas into the game I’ll add you to the message thread

another idea! 

 

7- Spiders attack anything that is currently chasing webber,  and defend him,,  ( its important cuz sometimes im being chased by hounds or tallbirds and other spiders js leaving me alone till i get hit,  which is bad,)   spiders ( befriended or not  )  should defend webber and not wait till he gets attacked 

 

8- ability to put befriended spiders on passive or very aggressive mode to attack anyth nearby

i also hate how spider hats r available for everyone,  even tho,  they suk too,,  they dont stay for long so maybe the skill tree could fix that and only if being used by webber stays forever that would be nice

Yeah, so here was my thought process for making them so for a while I saw a bunch of people wanting switcherdoodles to be able to affect Webber and I was thinking It would get  complicated with skins And I forget if I came up with the hat thing first and mentioned it to one of the people, or I mentioned the skin problem with that they came up with the hats, but anyway then I was thinking Webber is too nice to kill a spider queen for a hat, so I figured what if he just repurposes them by giving them new life through their head and some other objects, and they aid in him gaining the headspace to adopt certain abilities of his non- spider counterparts 

Do you think nurse spiders or healing glop  could  sustainably Keep a spider With a max of seven HP and planar defense alive

OK, I know this isn’t in the DST style it’s missing two of the smaller eyes and I forgot to ask my girlfriend to put hair on the second segments of the legs but anyway, the current web  heart  design is supposed to be a reference to the old spider care tab 

 to give you a better idea of what this skin would look like in DST design  imagine  human Webber without a shirt on, maybe remove the new nipples I don’t know, skin purple, black hair , normal skins eyes make all the small ones black with red outline two big ones blue with white outline, Farm spider mouth, Play the spider Queen’s Lorax except proportional to The character model with light purple webbing When growing the beard without web when not(if used without the thorax, we can just grow on the torso or it could be a beard shape like the unnatural portal), The upper part of the leg is purple skin in the lower part of the lake is here with the spikes Being blue with the white outline on the left on the right black with a red outline, two legs on each side, like spider queen, an implemented into the skin to the three  tentacle legs on each side of wurt’s hollowed night skin, and the arms the top half is purple skin the bottom half is the base skin arm except for fingers Blue with white outline on the left and black with red outline on the right, and currently black parts of the spider care tab as the chest markings Like how the triumphant skin Has that black widow marking and the moonbound skin Has a crescent moon chestmarking

wait nvm,  no,  cuz thers diff types of spiders,  n ur not gonna have 1 ttpe only all the time

i would like to add some issues with spiders,  hope they get fixed also more **skill tree ideas**

the issue that needs to be FIXED:

when taming alot of spiders they start pushing webber and getting him stuck n unable to get out,,  its cancer n needs to be fixed,  they shouldnt push webber or prevent him from going anywhere 

----

bonus Skill tree: 

 

what if webber could make an armor and sword, by using silk,  and anyth else maybe marble or gold  ,  and since webbing area makes mobs slower,,  so the sword and armor does the same, 

- the armor::  has an AOE slow effect ( movement speed and attack speed  maybe 50% or 40%) 

 

- the sword: adds slow effect on hits only  ( maybe 10% movement speed and attack speed, and it stacks,  but gets reduced after every hit,  for example,  first hit 10% sec 8% etc,  also it has a 35% chance to randomly respawn diff types on spiders when attacking a Mob affected by a slow effect, usually respawns 1~2 spiders,  but if the attacked mob has so much hp 10000+ it becomes 3~5 spiders 

** THE ARMOR AND SWORD CAN ONLY BE USED BY WEBBER AND CANT BE PICKED UP BY OTHER CHARACTERS.**
