Capsizing crab guards to make them more doable without panflute.

Recommended Posts

Sleeping them is pretty much only way to kill them which is a complain a see with the new sleep change, so this is to fix the error. So i added a mini rework by allowing you to capsize them. Capsizing is when a crab is flipped on its back, and it exposes its vulnerable side.

  • Dealing enough hits to a crab guard (like 8 for small, 20 for big?) will capsize them. Dealing 50 or more damage counts as 2 hits instead. Dealing 80 or more damage counts as 3 hits.
  • They will be stuck on their back for 10 seconds and take 3x damage while stunned.
  • Using explosives or cannons will instantly capsize them.

This will make fighting them more interesting and doable.

Oh i like this! Makes it still require timing since the powder has to be on fire for a bit while also making it a costly easy solution!

A nice easter egg would be it Wigfrid's spear dash could also flip them over, like the turtles in the forge.

Cannons might be good for the big crabs.

Also, i still hope they make these encounterable enemies in the ocean! They look so awesome, and adding this mechanic will make them more unique.

Does this entail them being able to swim? This would be cool then, especially if you had to battle through them before reaching crab king himself to start the fight.

If they could swim during the fight it would also encourage killing them during the ice platform phase...

They would lurk in water or hide on a sea stack, and jump on the boat if you get near.

They may be found on temporary ice islands guarding treasure. (Sneaky)
