However, if we want to be with the merms even in the cave, you must build a house for them. This is not a good idea as going in and out of the cave to manage the merm king's hunger will reset follow time with the merms. And the newly added Moonlight merm and Shadow merm have unlimited follow time but do not receive food. This means that when we return to the cave, they become wild merm and cannot become companions again. (We can become companions again by giving food or fish to ordinary merm around them. But this isn't intuitive) 1. Follow into the cave This is ordinary but very effective. They always follow the wurt and their following time cannot be reset. 2. into the inventory Store merm in specific items, such as Abigail's Flower We can imagine countless merms going into and out of The Gnaw's mouth. (In particular, this is a perfect solution to prevent merms from interfering with construction!) I think them going into the gnaw’s mouth is a bit overkill Seem pretty human sized and like they can understand the concept of stairs(When a kings is on the throne) How about they just follow her up and down when a king is on the throne?
