JaiTM Posted June 9, 2024 Share Posted June 9, 2024 So I've been playing the new Wurt skill tree, and besides a few issues which have already been talked about to high heavens here, I noticed that her healing syringe for merms and herself was very underpowered, and it simply does not work while in the midst of a fight, as you're just taking a merm out of the fight for mediocre healing. I mean, let's see the core issues in this situation! Not enough healing Takes merms outta the fight Too goshdarn expensive! So, I'd like to propose two entirely different methods to boost Wurt's merm healing, one sticks to the Mosquito branch of the skill tree, and the other one would be a part of the highly requested Merm Occupation branch that a LOT of people have been asking for. So, let's take a gander! First up, with fast movement and an already existing correlation to blood, I suggest the Med-Squito! Similar to how Webber relies on nurse spider to deliver healing in the midst of a fight, Wurt would be able to create Med-squitoes that go around and give merms blood, providing decent healing to three merms before promptly deflating and dying (If mosquitoes blow up from sucking too much blood, the opposite should be true, no?). But, not only that, if you have mastery unlocked, then you can create the equivalent of the Swedish healthcare system for the merms! The Med-squito Balloon! Yup, it's just a normal mosquito balloon but with Med-squitoes. (Hey, they can't be all groundbreakers!) Now, let's move onto a potential Merm Occupation branch option. With a high health pool, and the smarts to prioritize the most hurt, I suggest the Med-Folk! Ever wish your merms had a Wortox of their own? Well fret no longer! Merms can become Med-Folk which go around the battlefield, tending to the injured for as long as they are alive! But they ain't just a one-trick fish either, for if you decide to ally yourself with either the moon or the shadow it casts, you'd find your Med-Folk can do more than what they applied for! Witch Doctor Med-Folk! (Shadow) : Using shadow magic gifted from the Queen herself, these merms can cast an AoE healing effect to merms around them! Good if the big bad you're sieging has a nasty AoE attack of their own! (Although, they seem to be draining their own lifeforce with each cast...) Mad Doctor Med-Folk! (Lunar) : Using technology gifted by the Cryptic Founder himself, these merms can apply a very potent healing effect to a single merm at a time, even boosting a few other stats while they are at it! Good for if the mean bully you're beating up has a strong single-target attack! (Though, the medicine does seem to make them a bit... berserk...) I hope this feedback can inspire a few changes for the healing (or hell, you can just do either one of these ideas word for word, works for me!)
