Please allow us to deconstruct teleporters

Recommended Posts

The thing that really makes me lose motivation to play is the fact i can't move or destroy teleporters that spawn on my world. Also the neutronium tiles on the side of the map is really annoying for perfect builds, there is no way to get rid of them. Can Klei at least make it possible to create a perfectly clean square map so we can build stuff that we want without obstructions? Allow us to remove teleporters and allow us to make perfectly straight map edges despite the neutronium.

Until then, i'll avoid this game for now

You can try constructing something at the edges of the map to make it symmetric.

For example, you can make tiles of a perfectly ordered length with an adjacent straight line. I usually use ten tiles after the four original neutronium tiles at the outer edges.

You can use those tiles for batteries and transformers for your power spine.

You may refer to the attached picture. That is how I did it recently.

As you can see, you can even make it more beautiful by adding drywalls, statues, paintings, etc.

Also, you can consider the ragged look of the neutronium a challenge—a challenge you must solve to make it clean, symmetric, and beautiful.

There are ways for that.

Keep in mind that neutronium is the edge of the map, I imagine it as the fact that they are the two parts of a circular asteroid and that they are the points where the sides eventually converge. About the teleporters, I can agree. I believe that a good way to deal with them is to make it so they drop their own special part when deconstructed, and then can be rebuilt somewhere else with that part and that part only. This prevents many things, such as being able to make different or multiple teleporters with parts from a different asteroid, while also allowing you to move them or just store them away entirely.
