FWIW I think the loss of the off topic forum is a large part of increased tension in DST forum

I am noticing something of an increase in moderator activity, slowly climbing and climbing. Now, this is due in a not insignificant amount to just moderation being more open about what was already going on, but I think it is also due to the fact that for most of us, all we do is argue with eachother now. There are few outlets to do anything else. Before, there were gathering spots where we could much easier interact amiably. But now they are gone, and only the combat zones remain. I am thinking out loud here.
