OOPMan Posted May 12, 2024 Share Posted May 12, 2024 Hi all, I was wondering if anyone else has noticed a weird issue with the viewport drifting when a controller is attached. Initially I noticed this when my son was playing on his Steam Deck. With a fair amount of regularity the viewport will start drifting as though the right-thumbstick is being moved. Actually moving the right thumbstick resets this issue for a while but it often spontaneously manifests anew. Ordinarily I would think this was due to the dreaded drift issue that standard analog thumbsticks are known for but I've only observed this on ONI. To test further on my end I played the game on my desktop and noted the same behaviour when my XBO controller was plugged in. Removing the controller corrected the issue. Again, I'm pretty sure actual thumbstick drift is not a problem as I haven't observed it occurring on my desktop in any other games. Has anyone else observed this problem? Is it a known bug? Is there something I can amend in the Steam Input configuration on my son's Steam Deck to correct the issue?
