Ravenous dupes cannot take more than one ration from the Rehydrator in one go

I found this mechanics quite annoying when I decided to replace frozen food with dried rations in my colony.

Dupes in highest difficulty consume 2000 kcal/c, but they can only take 1000 kcal from the Rehydrator each time.

Every time they have to leave their table to rush for another ration, which is obviously time consuming and won't happen if they use the fridge.

As a late-game food solution I really consider this a considerable drawback of dried foods, and I would go back to frozen foods just because of it. But it appears to be more of a mechanics than a bug. So is it possible to be changed in the future?

Also please make dupes consume their pills at a fixed time (like dining time or before sleep), or they would want to travel half of the colony to grab a pill in the middle of something.
