MrsBoris
thermal stone, since the start of dont starve TOGETHER have durability now, which they didn't have before, if it goes real hot or cold, and then it goes back to ambient temperature it loses durability, its very simple, i think you can lose durability like what 9 times? idk, because i always use the infinite thermal stone mod. thermal stone durability isn't enough to change the way i play, but its just enough for me to notice it, my day is going just fine but i realize my thermal stone went from like 88% durability to 76% and now in my mind its literally so over and im sad even though nothing happened, so i just took the stupid number off and its been like that since than. In ds the thermal stone didnt stop at neutral stage meaning that it will cool you in winter and heat you in summer making them annoying Now they are way better. If you remove the durability penalty you are extending how much time you are protected from weather futher Not the biggest deal but makes it more balanced Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/153623-nitpicking-at-the-durability-of-thermal-stones/#findComment-1691898 Share on other sites
CuteC
I don't really have an issue with thermal stones given you can easily sew or duct tape them and I also take good care of mine, rarely do I ever have it break on me. Perhaps there could be a better thermal stone I dunno, but as of now playing with them is fairly simple, if it goes yellow burn the tree that will do the least amount of damage and place it there, if it goes blue then you better find your fridge, cold chester or water it (yeah you can water thermals to make them cold, it has to be on tilled ground for ease though).
