[Ideas for a Rework] I planned a Biome Rework for Don't Starve Together [This is a Mega Thread?]

Hey guys! My name is Julia! And I always loved Don't Starve, but I thought how easy the initial areas and initial challenges were becoming due to the big changes in the game (whether due to armor, Character Reworks, etc.), not only that, but I noticed how far graphically the other biomes like Moon Quay Island and Lunar Grotto were compared to the game's basic Biomes.

So I thought about what a rework of the biomes would be like for DST, even to make them more challenging, more beautiful, and more similar to the new biomes in the game. To my surprise, I wasn't the only one who thought about this, as I found several Forum posts about it.

So I decided to take the best ideas I found on the Forums, I combined them with mine, I took ideas that some of my friends also suggested and I created a file of what a perfect Rework would be like for the classic Don't Starve Together biomes.

The file has 19 pages and took me 3 whole days to make, but I finally did the Rework for the game's classic biomes, introducing new challenges, both early game and late game; new Set Pieces; new mobs; and even new mechanics that would be Game Chaning for the game!

Below I will mention some things you read in the file attached to the post:

  • New graphic systems such as: Small tufts of grass on the ground, Re-texture of all Turfs, Turfs exclusive to Set Pieces, small beaches around the continents connecting with the Turfs, new foliage system, sea fishing system in lagoons of sweet water, and more;
  • New ReGrowth systems for mobs like Mandrake and Merms;
  • New mechanics for the game: Like a new mining system, a new wild animal taming system, new blacksmithing system, and more;
  • New Mobs like Zebraffes, Snakes, Djoongari, and more;
  • New trees like Sakura Tree, Apple Tree, Mangrove, and more. And also new Bushes like Nuts and Blueberry;
  • New Set Pieces such as "The BlackSmith Hall" and "Dungeon";
  • Risk your entire game by making a pact with the God of Chaos at Totem of Chaos;
  • New Boulders like Gem Vein and Clay Boulder, and new ores like Clay Soil.

All this and much more within the file I made, I hope you have fun reading it, it was a lot of work, but I managed to gather as many ideas as possible to make the best biome Rework that the game could receive.

I would like to know your opinions too, not only in relation to what you would change in my text, but what would you change in the biomes themselves? What other biomes deserve attention too? How could you change them? Are my ideas good? I would like to hear all of this from you and I would be grateful too! Thanks for following the post!
