What lag compensation would effect if i hosted a server and played alone?

Both do.

• Lag compensation disabled shows exactly where your character is, but there will be a very tiny input delay unless you play without caves or with the Don't Starve Alone mod.
• Lag compensation predictive gets rid of that tiny delay, but only visually. The result is that where your character appears and where your character actually is are slightly different.

I'd recommend disabling lag compensation unless you're playing on someone else's server with very high ping.
