Please Klei! I've been searching for a mod that does this, but unable to find one; still I have seen a few online threads (one archived on here, one on Reddit), that also tote the desire to make naming Critters! Please make this happen, thank you! They NEED to make it to were you can do something to them (weather it be feed them an item or open a menu to modify them or something) that makes them shut UP! They are sooooooo annoying. I will be playing and having a good time and then I just hear: MrAaAAaaaa MRaaaAaAAa MraaAaAAa!!! IT IS LITERALLY THE MOST ANNOYING THING ON THE PLANET AND I DON'T WANT TO WASTE MY RESOURCES ON A GLORIFIED COSMETIC JUST SO IT WILL STOP SCREAMING AT ME!!!!!!!! But great idea though! I think the sanity boost mechanic makes so much sense and would actually make getting pets worth it. They should probably provide a bit more sanity than glommer. Maybe even the pets that you have to kill bosses to get provide a bit more sanity, (like the suspicious eye you have to kill a boss to get). However, I think they should just make it to where the positive effect stops working if they are underfed, instead of the pet making my ears bleed out until I die of blood loss.
