erikac14 Posted September 30, 2023 Share Posted September 30, 2023 During fight, when there is a hail (on ground) or sour rain (cave), it is not easy to drop the umbralla and turn it on while running around the bosses. I think it should be turn on automatically when dropped, just like lantern. If you don't need the shield, you have plenty of time to turn it off. I don't put everything i have in chests, or i have the inventory full and i have to drop something for some time. So sometimes i drop the umbralla on the floor, and if the thing you suggested would become real it would make the umbralla lose durability for no reason.
