Jakepeng99 Posted September 28, 2023 Share Posted September 28, 2023 Have you ever respawned from a touchstone in Winter, or another season, and just died to freezing before getting a chance to do anything? Touch stones should have extra things to help prevent this: making lights similar to pig torches that spawn around the stone to provide light and heat for a day would be nice (Cold in Summer), and maybe haunting the touchstone also gives a torch plus a starter seasonal item suited to the current season. Right now it is pretty frustrating and unfair if there happens to be not enough twigs and grass nearby. This would be a nice qol change, thank you. ShadowbirdRH Posted September 29, 2023 Share Posted September 29, 2023 _zwb presents a fair argument, but I don't think it would be game/challenge-breaking for the stone itself to emit light and heat/cold for a while after use. You'd still face the challenges of the season in order to leave its vicinity and survive the trek back to camp or where your dropped loot is, and for that, it'd still be valuable to have a cache of supplies at touchstones.
