Salt has a lot of niche uses I engage with frequently, but it's clear that the playerbase as a whole isn't on board with it currently. So I think being able to salt giant crops would be nice! Giant crops take a long time to spoil, and give 2-3 of their crop + some seeds when destroyed, so being able to salt them to replenish some freshness like any other raw foods would be quite useful!
