Buff Houndius Shootius?

Compared to the cost of creating it, the Houndius Shootius feels a bit underwhelming, especially since to get a second one, you have to defeat Ancient Fuelweaver to reset the ruins and then kill Ancient Guardian and Deerclops.

Sure, it has its place in endgame hound traps and farms, but other than that, I don't see the point when Winona's Catapults exist and are way cheaper to make. I can only imagine players having less of a reason to use Houndius Shootius when Winona gets a skill tree.

Some people I play with even opt to eat the guardian horn, as they find the Houndius Shootius to be useless/not worth the trouble of creating.
