My opnion on the rifts/ New updates future

-firstly the rifts are "fine as an mechanic" until the point of the unlimited amount of the husks they can spawn that can be annoying and sometimes totaly anti gameplay, because you cant prevent them
-Second they can grief most bases, i think they should be only able to spawn in certain biomes, and if they you dont have many structures, like tree's spawn canceling
-third the items still are in an bad shape, arent that useful and have some flaws (like the last set the dreadarmor cannot being restored when in lunacy biomes "but for me i love them im general but i see too many people conplaining about it's value") but those flaws are tottaly strange, because you only get an "armor penetration" for so much expensive itens.
-I understand an way that this update making like terraria boss "wall of flesh" that turns the world in an hard mode state after killing it, i see that killing CC can leave to that state and it would be cool, then adding armor to most mobs, that way i see more of motive to  use those new itens
- or even klei adding more useful perks to those itens
there is some big way's to be led on those updates and many opnions to chose from, but i am liking the way but some changes are needed for me.


 

I agree with pretty much all you said however i am not really worried about the lack of apeal for the new items, the beta droped just a few days ago, there are still unimplemented features, tweaking etc etc, i remember the 50 spawn points of the nightmare were pig, the og horticulture nerf, fish farms and magnets not being added until the seocnd or third hotfix of moonquay etc etc.

For now nothing in this beta seems out of normality regarding thw current state of the items and mechanics, we should wait and see

yeah but i am with you on that page, normally i would do some crazy sugestions, but for now i am waiting because there is so many ways to go, that i am waiting on klei's first step, that's why for now the itens feel bad, but i am sure that will change for the better

well not that i base on oasis specifically, but the thing that the rift can appear anywere is sometimes annoyng, and did you see an photo of an portion of the map full of the new plants? on an base that would be an crisis, i think that they being more consistent, would be better,like making their spawns, near the moon event? or the nearest land mass of lunar island
so that the options of sealing/dealing with them are more linear
