SlaveKnightKos
A major frustration I have had with combat, especially in high pressure situations like Nightmare Phase or boss fights with massive stamina drain such as Clops is that while I am trying to kill off my Shadow Creatures to get my sanity back, juggling several, the one that I am trying to attack will go into their roar animation in which they recheck your sanity and reset their aggro and my one attack button will instead send me in the direction of one of the pursuing monsters behind them, leaving me vulnerable to both attacks at no fault of my own. While Shadow Creatures are the most affected mob, this also applies to all mobs with this animation such as hounds and spiders. I am not privy to the details of how this one button attack works, but based on using it seems that it follows the F, Shift+F, and Alt+F priorities and combines that with distance from the player. If it is truly as simple as this then making it so a previously aggressive mob in an aggro reset animation still targeted receiving first priority would improve the game for all players, especially those confined solely to the use of a controller.
