A reliable way to get this weapon.

Reliable means not RNG. It's a nice item, shame it's locked to RNG raid.

It's a nice but not the best weapon and reduces the pain which travelling through ocean is.

Don't outshine other the weapons and don't be outshined
The blueprint should be a easier to get than dark sword to not land in a bad spot as a weapon.
But still it should be harder to get than tentacle spike to not make tentacle spike land in a bad spot.

Finding monkey island or prime mate requires luck so I wouldn't suggest them being the source of it.

Recipe:
Deconstructing battle paddle yields palmcone scales so it would be part of the recipe for it. So it becomes RNG again, you have to find monkey island. But I'd suggest what has been suggested by someone else earlier. Fully grown ones drop just 1 palmcone sprout. If you want faster palmcone scale production then you must go to monkey island, because as many as you find oasis will be as many as you'll have for now.
Though would be cool if there was a chance for 2nd sprout from fully grown palmcone tree, even if only 10%

Source of blueprint:
I know bottles are RNG but there's so many, they just feel as granted once you know they have 1-2 days of cooldown. Pearl is writing letters to crab king so where are those treasure letters coming from? We could say they are lost treasure maps of monkeys. I suggest the first treasure a player hammers would additionally drop the blueprint for the battle paddle. Nobody is treasure hunting unless really bored, just not worth it. Now there's a reason to hunt it.

There's also an option for Wonkey players only being able to craft it so Wonkey is more like a character with their own craft like Wigfrid and Wormwood. But having to turn into Wonkey would make it RNG unless you could choose to spawn as Wonkey.
