I think shadows should be 2-3 hit by bosses.

Typically, this implies at least thirty days spent without finding any marble or a single alchemy engine made. A truly impressive feat, but only if you exist solely to kill seasonal bosses that don't have any gimmicks. Any form of following basic progression makes it save a lot less effort.

Admittedly, I find five hits excessive, but not to a point where it's actually harmful. This game already has a metric ton of cracked things, why not pay a little bit less NF for the same service? Needing to refresh them more often with a durability nerf or costing more nf, neither will accomplish anything meaningful. All roads lead to "get more of x lol".

Eh? The point is that Maxwell can accomplish the same level of what the best weapons and armor can afford as soon as he spawns and without any effort or input required. In game of course you wouldn't sit and do nothing until you can fight Deerclops but Maxwell CAN do that and still easily best him and many other bosses as has been shown with those funny videos. A Maxwell who actually plays the game will also have that amazing gear on top of his ability to kill bosses with shadow clones alone. Wigfrid and Wolfgang simply cannot compete with that, even damage wise Maxwell now surpasses fully fledged combat characters on top of having a shadow chester in his inventory AND being a top-tier gatherer of all natural resources.

Sure, making him spend more nightmare fuel will "do nothing". So they should actually significantly nerf him considering the insane capabilities he has for so cheap across the board. Why should he be this strong without any effort? How is it reasonable? Because other things are broken??
