Sandstorm effect in mission 10 causes slow downs and frame rate drops (Remastered version)

Hi, I need help with anyway I can do to prevent slow downs or fps drops whenever I go outside and there is sandstorm. It makes the game unplayable for me, the rest of the game has been fine. Maybe hopefully a patch will fix it?
