Sleeping powder

Why do we design so many kill chambers when critters will die of old age anyway? Unless we need the food now there is only one reason: LAG. But with sleep powder, the critter will fall asleep... and never wake up (without the player assigning a "wake up" errand). No lag anymore!

Sleep powder vastly reduces the effort in saving lag, which shouldn't be part of game balance. Just sprinkle a little into your kill-chamber with it and we are good to go. It only works on tamed critters.

But it's fun and creative to design kill chambers! We could have meat peak in early adulthood to incentivize killing critters at prime health. Although this favors cruelty which isn't ideal. Maybe we could have milk instead of meat and each creature milks under different circumstances which keeps builds fresh.
