im trying to make a mod but have a few problems

for example: if someone says hi this will hapends

if playerSay('hi') then
     spawn(..)

end

ok ik its will not gona work 

can someone help me idk how to use lua if you chek my posts its all about stupid questions about my character mod. where i can learn lua

Try to find an existing mod that does something similar. This mod says it does an emote when you say "/dab", so you might try looking at its code.
