Server save synchronization

Hello.

Few days ago I was talking with my friends about some features that could really improve our experience. One of it was synchronization of world between players so lets say person who created the world can give you permission to keep the copy of his game and update it with your progress. Since we have possibility of keeping our save in steam cloud it would be really handy to play with bunch of friends if host is temporarily unavailable to play (and host the server). It happens really often that we form some sort of group to play and then host or other player just quit for numbers of reason. I'm kinda tired of repeating the game every time and start with making foundation for basic looking base. What do you guys think about this? I'm concerned that it can be harder than it looks like but it seems that keeping saves in steam cloud was biggest challange here.
