Documentation?

I've been poking around in search of some documentation, and can't seem to find any official source. There have been some incredible members of the community who have contributed to some level of documentation, but even this is unfortunately difficult to slog through, as it takes a lot of effort to even find these posts. It's possible that I'm just bad at searching forums, so if anyone knows of a source like this, that is up-to-date, I would love a link. 

Assuming that I haven't missed something major, I'd like to get people talking about how useful it would be to have a centralized source of documentation. Even a community contributed wiki would be great, and judging by some of the posts that I have seen, there are likely community members who wouldn't mind contributing their knowledge to the wiki.

Although it might be important to mention that this seems to have been tried before. The fandom wiki lists a link to a website (https://dontstarve.fandom.com/wiki/Mods#Basic_API_Info) that is unreachable for me at least (http://dontstarveapi.com/). I've also poked around and seen a wiki page for exactly this on the same fandom wiki, although I can't find it again, but it was another case of being abandoned. 

I guess I'd like to feel out and see how interested the community is in attempting to put together a centralized resource. If you've stumbled across this post, please, let me know what you think about the topic.

Sadly there isn't any official API, all we have is this forum, and the games files.

I can't express how much I agree with wanting a good one, unfortunately nobody has brought up a solid solution yet. Although there's a lot of people here who would love to contribute, nobody has come forward yet with a new place to do that.
