Preventing certain items from sinking

Hi, so certain items, such as the moonrockseed and the chess pieces, when they're on a boat and the boat sinks, they teleport to the nearest land. I think it's because they have component.inventoryitem.sinks = true and the tag "irreplaceable" that they do this. If I would like other items to also do this, but without adding the "irreplaceable" tag, since people would drop it when they log off, is there an easy way to do this?
