ONI-FAN
So, I never change a dupes clothing. Once I get Snazzy suits - game over. 1. I have this vision though for dressing rooms. I picture them working in just the way atmo suit docks do. You pick a location, set the direction of the building and you are set to go. I see them as a dressing room stall and next to it you can add cubby hole shelves. Each cubby will have an outfit and I figure you could stack three cubbies in a shelf building and hence three shirts next to the Dressing room building. Need more shirts? Add more cubbies. Neat huh? 2. i would like to see temperature play a bigger role than it does now, at least on survival mode. I LOVE that sending dupes into 200F temps will scald them, so I usually build atmo docks.... but if the oxygen is good (or I want them to hold their breath) I could just use a dressing room stall and have them change into the cooling clothes to give them a little more protection. I would like extreme cold temps to do the same as extreme heat, giving a reason to use warm sweaters as well. 3. Personally, at least on survival, i wouldn't mind vacuum hurting dupes too. It would be good fun to add compression suits to act as a small protective barrier to vacuum damage. These could work in the dressing room stalls too. You just add which ever clothes type to the Cubby rack shelves and that is what the Dupes will use. 4. Slightly off my own topic, Oxygen masks could work this way too so as to fix the whole wasted-ore issue atm. You could just have a rack of masks next to the Oxygen machine, put on a mask, run past and viola, you have 200seconds of O2. Return past the Machine and your mask returns to the Cubby hole. If the machine doesnt have enough O2 you just have to wait for it to fill up. Anyways, thoughts?
