Iloveoxygen Posted July 19, 2019 Share Posted July 19, 2019 I have a suggestion for a critter in the ice biome cause I noticed that there isn't any native critter to that biome so I thought of the idea of adding a giant yeti, which there is only one of the entire map and is unkillable (cannot lay eggs) , which in the beginning is aggressive towards the duplicants, but a level two rancher trait allows you to tame the yeti. It takes like 5 cycles for the yeti to become tame, and once it does, it acts somewhat like a duplicant but like a pet, which you can assign to a specific dupe, and it will help out the dupe with the tasks. What makes it different than a normal dupe is that it doesn't take oxygen, and cannot die. However, you can only feed it meat from other critters. If you don't feed it, it will start to get more and more aggressive towards the dupes and will work less. It poops out polluted dirt. I think this would be a good idea and something for people to work towards during mid game, and makes use of the ranching level 2 skill. Also, it will allow people to create doctors since many bases lack specialized doctors since not many incidents of low health occur once atmo suits are researched. Just a suggestion. Also, I feel like since clothing has a lack of variety, there should be clothes that boost up skills by like a point or two, allowing people to create more specialized dupes and take advantage of the clothing mechanic in the game What do you guys think about these ideas?
