Possible DLC - Asteroid Belt

This game has so much potential, and for a Alpha, it's magnificent. So praise out of the way let me begin with the general idea.

You're already on an Asteroid--space rock as the summary of the game states--and clearly your in space, unknown how you got there and no real goal other than expanding your colony. What better way to do this than leave your isolated asteroid and enter a new one? Well, expand into a new one.

Within an asteroid belt, your colony in a single one will be threatened by others colliding with yours, some collisions will cause extensive damage, while at the same time giving you new resources, or not, these asteroids could chip away precious resources and have them drift into space. This would be a setting in the menu when you first make the world, the collisions could varied. Along with that, a sort of difficulty setting would be the size of the asteroid you begin in. With how the game is now, having resources is immensely important, so having a smaller asteroid to begin in will be tougher, and if a larger asteroid hits you, well it may as well be game over.

A big environmental change with this would be the addition of gravity fluctuation. See, your asteroid is spinning at a constant rate in the beginning, but as it's hit, it will either go faster or slower, even stop depending on where you're struck. A fix would be a Gyroscope which will make the spinning constant for your Duplicates so that they have the right amount of gravity. Either in the settings, or a hot key will allow you to see the game spinning or level it, that is to say it's still spinning, your screen just isn't spinning with it.

Backtracking to the expansion idea, of course with a Space Suit included, you can get to the surface of your asteroid and with other items, even attach your asteroid to a new one that may be passing by. Stuff like an Interior Scanner--which tells you what the asteroid is made up of--and Tethers--which will attach themselves to the asteroid via a Harpoon Gun and Crank--allows for that expansion.

Radar, Siren, Thrusters and Control Booth will allow your Duplicates to see a world map with all the asteroids in the area, warning you when it's safe; when one is heading your way; and if there is no avoiding the collision. The Control Booth, paired with the Thrusters--depending on the size of your asteroid will depend on how many Thrusters you'll need--but a Duplicate in the Control Booth will prevent you from hitting any asteroids, and dodging any that may head your way.

A Space/Oxygen Walk would allow for your Duplicates to enter new asteroids and when paired with the Tethers, if you build a wall over them, it reinforces those walls so that you are successfully attached. Majority of this is end game stuff, but still I think could be loads of fun and innovative.

Plenty more could be included but this is the general idea.
