On Ubuntu, clicking "Key store" makes the game unresponsive

Platform: ubuntu 15.10 with hd intel 4000

No mods.

When I click on "Klei Store" after opening the game, the game becomes unresponsive. Oddly enough, I don't experience this bug: 

after that. I can alt+tab without any problem. The client is still visible and I can switch to it, but no mouse or keyboard action does anything.

Steps to Reproduce
- Open don't starve - click on "Klei Store".
Go to bugs

The version is  rev 171644

I experience the same symptoms with the following steps:

- open don't starve

- click on "mods"

- click on one of the top mods

The game hangs exactly like described above.
