quick question, can i replant the wheezeworts over and over again, they dont create seeds i was worried they might die if i relocate them

Wheezewort won't die. When you uproot it, you get it's seed. 

By the way, it's an old skill that you can cool hot water by uprooting and planting wheezeworts repeatedly because the temperature of wheezeworts will reset to 20 degrees when they are planted.

wait you said water, where do i exactly put the wheeze? this is helpful since i got a steam geyser above letting it drop some water but a little hot

To promote heat transfer between wheezewort and water, I guess you should try to control water level(higher than the flower pot). This pic might be helpful.

Definitely will cool it down. 20t of ice and snow will take ages to melt and will significantly cool water.

Just remember it's 20 tiles worth of water when it does melt, so make sure there's room for it so you don't flood your base
