a lot more junk on my mind

I have been thinking, this game is 2D, yes? but it feels a little, Too flat lets say.

heres my idea.

in the bottom, we have a little space to work with, so lets do it! so a idea, there will be 5 buttons, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3, these buttons determine where your object will be placed, but this idea has a weak spot, with this idea I can squish 9 microbe mushers in a 6 block radius, but that is fine, what could ONI be like with this? his idea gives depth and more to the fluid, productiveness of everything, but lets just actually explain this

layer 1 and 3

these layers are the walls, it is originally the walls of whatever was there ( 3x recorces? no, you only get %50 more recorces, just to balance it [ if there was a pocket of 200 KG of copper { per chunk }, the walls would be considered 100 KG per chunk ] ), so this alows the lazy happiness ( less work ), while the perfectionists pride ( more materials, more space and better ideas. ) but, there is a .5 layer and 3.5 layer, both untouchable and no placement, allowing those you guys not having to make another DS, this can be made with tiles and makes a "room", more on that later, oh and the "3" layer would be 75% translucent, and 25% when the "3" option is pressed.

this is the most important stuff, so listen closely.

this is your floor,

all of these, if not supported or fully enclosed, can have duplicates fall through the crevasses, and worse, mistakes, these can have dupes tripping, and, if not looked over for, can have duplicates falling and having injury ( more on that later klei! ) so, we go into no items

 

rails: if to lazy to simply put in a few extra tiles or want a sight to behold, rails keep your silly's from killing themselves from a fall. the cost can vary on what has been gotten on the skill tree, this gives off a +6.93 decor boost and higher

cement: not the best, but takes up the space given. this task is done by 2 duplicates and requires raw mineral and has a -2.17 decor change, and a slip can cause injury

 

buffs, debuffs and actions

buffs

love: yes, you heard him, this duplicate found his/her soulmate | -20% stress change and +2 on actions the "soulmate" professionalizes in ( her strongest ability)

day starter: this duplicate had something right to start the day | dupes now have "favorite foods", these now can only be at level 0 or above, this gives them a -10 stress boost for .5 of a cycle and gives em a nice smile, awww...

debuffs

injury: this dupe has fallen! | +10 stress change per cycle and -1 to all stats

hatred: looks as if someone snuck into the colony | dupe will act out and harm the menace, and will go on until few dupes break em' up.

dates

viewing the veue

acting out to others

falling

pain

 

new stress responses!

naturalist: this guy cannot be better | no stress response but -2 to all stats

stress scientist: no better way to get rid of stress than fiddle with bottles! | will randomly research and avoid some mandatory tasks, only for dupes with tinkering and/or research is 5 and above.

thinker: this guy has some stuff on his mind | will stress out OTHER dupes when stressed | only possible to get when all stats are or above 2.

angered: this guy doesn't talk, he punches | will attack other dupes when stressed | only gettable when athletics is or above 5
