For example, if you start a world on slot 1 and go into a cave, do some stuff inside, then later you delete slot 1 and create a new world on the same slot, you'll find the cave wasn't deleted and all the structures and stuff you've thrown in there remained with the map itself. Developer Jason Posted December 18, 2017 Author Developer Share Posted December 18, 2017 Yes, PuffinsBy has it right. there was a bug in the Home Sea Home update where If you played a game and visited a cave or volcano and then died, the files for the cave and volcano were not being deleted. So if you played in that same save slot again and visited a cave or volcano, it would find the old files instead of creating new ones. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
