Problem with saving

Hey all, I recently had problems with don't starve saving the game. I'vs had the game for years without issues. But recently I go in games and play for a few days, and when I log back in it just rolls back, up to 13 days!! I looked around online for a bit and it said to disable the steam cloud. I did but I still encounter the same problem which is very infuriating. I just don't know what to do.
