having trouble beating the boss, need some help?
skip to TLDR if youre lazy to read (hence why i make this topic)

disclaimer:
this isnt indepth walkthrough or guide, just some visual presentations of my tactic to beat the boss of the event with some randoms.
just figured that i share back with the community from the tips and tricks i learnt from the forum etc. there are a lot of better explanation in the forum

first of all, some proof that i have a bit of qualification:
https://youtu.be/n8R8uxEIsAg?t=590
shows that i've beat the boss with all characters..
as you can see from my level, took me awhile to get the timings and stuff. so yeah, dont give up out there, if a slow learner like me can do it, you can do it too! (i think my first time beating the boss is around lvl 20+, sad)

some tips:
> you can cancel the boss attacks and therefore clutch the game at the last moments if you can time your special attack right using woodie (since his cooldown is the fastest)
https://youtu.be/7K9942O3eyM?t=245

> dont bother luring boss to the heal after he summons the boars, because he suddenly got smarter, instead try to land the heal on top of it

and don't stand together on top of heal, you'll just get rekt together

> theres a pattern for every mobs, including boss. some tips for kiter/lurer/runner or whatever your room calls it

> what should i do with some unpopular misfit characters?
wendy/ webber >>> you can use them as kiter, healer, or pure dps.
granted, they won't work as well as the others, but meh, very doable. i saw in my runs a webber doing boarilla perfect run (no damage, not losing agro) and vice versa a wes losing agro.

> levels doesnt mean everything
i saw a lvl 70+ doing some terrible plays, and a lvl 20is clutching the team for victory. everybody has different learning curve, so don't rely on that too much i guess +theres lag factor (but do mind if a level <10 is in your room, you may need to guide him/her)

They will play some rounds, get frustated, then some may start looking for strats. at least, thats the case with me lol

Some of those that are too lazy to read long sentences may find this guide interesting.
