starrynytex
As the title suggests, let's talk about your most frightening moments in Don't Starve. I'll go first. 1. Deerclops' growl. It still gives me goosebumps after 2000+ days in my megabase world. 2. Pengulls spawning in the dark. 3. Spiders popping out of tumbleweeds. 4. Tiger Shark rushing towards my boat when the only light is the luminescence I was trying to catch.
Tylordian
1. The first time I saw a nightstand 2. The first time I saw Tiger Shark. (It was the middle of the night, was sailing, and I just saw a giant shadow pass.)

zzKratoszz
I don't think I have a most frightening moment. But trying to dodge death with this visibility is a memorable one. Spoiler

FOR SURE! I still remember my very first encounter with Deerclops and it was terrifying. I was shaking afterwards from all the adrenaline. This has been long-since removed from the game, but back when DS was still being developed, there were MacTusk villages. You could have clusters of camps up to 9 IIRC. There I am, trying to explore and stay warm and get through my first winter, and I suddenly run smack into 6 of them and their hoards of hounds. Here's an old thread with pics, if anyone is interested.
