I had an idea of the mod long before they announced those carnivorous plants, but im glad they are adding them. Mine however is not aggressive unlike those mobs in the teaser!

So my first failed attempt of exporting animation into the game:

:(

Turns out that

  • image is to big
  • cant resize it easily because it is spriter pro feature
  • have to resize all (aprox 35) images manually and the reassign them and construct new animation from scratch
  • the animation stops after first loop

Dont mind the tiny head, i predicted this size issue would happen so i resized the head to check what is the size difference

Seems like i have even more work to do

The first one was Bundling Wrap (port to DS from DST) and the second was mobs health reduction for DST solo play (so generaly mob's health now match their DS counterparts)

So while most of my art is done im focusing now on coding it. However it seems like the mechanics i imagined are too ambitious. I have already scratched out some of the original mechanics so I was able to code simpler ones.

Even with the help from modding section I am really struggling to make this mod happen :/
